Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

An Infusion Registered Nurse is sought to provide specialized care in an outpatient setting, primarily focusing on patients with Multiple Myeloma and Lymphoma. This role requires expertise in infusion therapy and outpatient oncology.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous therapies and medications to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Utilize Epic for accurate documentation and charting of patient information.
• Float between departments and affiliate locations as needed to support facility needs.

Shift Details

This position offers a schedule of four 10-hour shifts during the mid-day, providing flexibility for work-life balance. Weekend requirements and block scheduling accommodations can be discussed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience as an Infusion RN.
• Prior experience in an Infusion Center and outpatient oncology is required.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Epic charting.
• Active Massachusetts RN license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Chemotherapy certification (OCN or ONCC/ONS) is mandatory.

Vaccination Requirements

COVID-19 vaccination and booster are required for all candidates, with no exemptions accepted.
