Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. This position offers a day shift schedule of three consecutive 12-hour shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM, working every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in the Long-Term Care unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patients’ health status and progress.
• Assist with daily living activities, ensuring patients’ comfort and dignity.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid nursing license as an LVN or LPN.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a Long-Term Care setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Schedule

This position is scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week, from 6 AM to 6 PM, with a rotation that includes working every other weekend.
