Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment and discharge plans, and delivering therapy aimed at enhancing independence in daily living skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients based on physician orders and referrals.
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Document therapy services accurately and in a timely manner.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in compliance with practice acts and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy).
• Possess an active state Occupational Therapy license or demonstrate the ability to obtain one.
• Strong clinical skills, with proficiency in documentation and communication.
