Occupational Therapist

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment and discharge plans, and delivering therapy aimed at enhancing independence in daily living skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients based on physician orders and referrals.
• Develop and regularly update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
• Accurately document all services in a timely manner.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with practice acts and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and family members to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards to provide a safe environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD).
• Possession of an active state Occupational Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong clinical skills, including documentation and effective communication.
