Holding Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description:

The Angio Holding unit is a pre and post procedural area that caters to patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures. The role involves delivering high-quality care to patients before and after their procedures in a dynamic clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the pre and post procedural settings.
• Demonstrate knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.
• Utilize electronic medical records system (EMR) – EPIC for documentation.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Shift Information:

This position requires working day shifts from 0530 to 1800, three days per week. Holiday coverage may also be required.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a pre/post procedural area is required.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are mandatory.

Staffing and Environment:

The unit consists of 7 bays, staffed by 3 to 4 Registered Nurses per shift, depending on patient volume.
