Dietitian

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to provide nutritional care and support for a diverse patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in nutrition assessments, developing treatment plans, and managing enteral nutrition and TPN. This role involves working closely with patients to optimize their health through dietary strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients across various age groups.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans based on clinical guidelines and patient needs.
• Provide education on nutrition, including calorie counts and food-drug interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate dietary considerations into patient care.
• Manage enteral nutrition and TPN effectively for patients requiring advanced nutritional support.

Schedule Requirements

• RTO: Maximum of 7 days.
• Weekend: Not specified.
• Call Requirements: Not specified.
• Holidays: Expected to work major holidays based on the schedule of assignment.

Compliance

Full compliance is required to start on time. In the event of non-compliance, the start date may be postponed by 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in dietary services.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) status is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficient in calorie counts and managing enteral nutrition.
• Strong understanding of food-drug interactions.

Patient Population

Ability to interact with and provide dietary support for a wide range of patients, including infants, children, and geriatrics.
