Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide essential therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting patients in developing and restoring functional independence in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as per the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in educating patients and their families about therapy processes and goals.
• Communicate the status of patients effectively to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
