Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Telemetry

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in Cardiac Telemetry. This role requires a strong background in critical patient care, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a high-acuity environment.

Position Details

• Shift: Night – 3×12 hours (19:00 – 07:30)
• Contract Length: 20 weeks
• Average Daily Census: 30 patients
• Rooms/Beds: 22 / 30
• Patient Age Range: Adults and Geriatrics
• Patient Diagnoses: Includes but not limited to CHF, ECOPD, NSTEMI, new onset Afib, arrhythmias, sepsis, and renal failure/AKI
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Floating Requirements: Required within the specialty as needed
• Holidays: Required as scheduled

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; first-time travelers with strong CPU and PCU experience will also be considered
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • RN license in the state of Maryland
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred

Unit Information

This is a combined unit that requires higher acuity experience. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling a variety of complex patient diagnoses in a telemetry setting.
