About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our dynamic team. This position requires proficiency in coronary diagnostic and intervention procedures, alongside the ability to scrub and monitor during cases.
Shift Details
- Work Schedule: 4×10 hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:30), with flexibility to extend hours depending on the completion of procedures.
- Daily Caseload: Handle a caseload of approximately 20-25 cases per day, with 4 to 5 labs running daily and 2-3 cardiovascular techs assigned per lab.
- On-Call Requirements: Participate in on-call rotation, which includes one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) every seven weeks, plus a call shift and evening shift weekly. Schedule may adjust based on staffing needs.
- Holiday Coverage: Available as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process). South Carolina license (SCRQSA) is mandatory.
- Radiation Badge: Must be provided by the agency, as it is not supplied on-site.
Special Requirements
Experience in Coronary diagnostic and intervention procedures is essential. Candidates should be proficient in both scrub and monitor roles within Cath Lab settings.
Miscellaneous Information
- Block scheduling may be accommodated upon manager approval, dependent on unit needs.
- Accepts local candidates on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate.
- All requests for time off must be submitted upon initial application and are subject to facility needs for approval.
- Guaranteed hours: The facility may call off one shift every two weeks; called-off hours will count towards this total.
