Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide quality therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with patient and family education to enhance understanding of treatment plans.
• Communicate patient status updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
