Interventional Radiology Technician

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity for an Interventional Radiology Technician is currently available. This role requires a dedicated professional to support various interventional procedures within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and performance of interventional radiology procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
• Maintain and monitor equipment utilized during interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in departmental quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of experience in interventional radiology is required; 2 years is preferred.
• Must hold a national certification from ARRT and a valid state license.
• AHA ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• RCIS certification is preferred.
• Willingness to be on call and float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Ability to float to multiple locations within a 20-mile radius as needed.

Schedule

This role offers a day shift with 4×10-hour scheduling options. Flexible weekend requirements can be discussed with the management.

Additional Information

• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 3×12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts.
• All request time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission.

Facility Information

The facility is a Short Term Acute Care center with a total of 521 staffed beds and offers a supportive learning environment as a teaching institution. The department utilizes EPIC for charting and has a scrub color of Ceil Blue. Parking is available free of charge in any unrestricted space.
