Interventional Radiology Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technician to provide exceptional patient care and technical support within our interventional radiology unit. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and effectively utilize imaging equipment while maintaining a high standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of interventional radiology procedures.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies required for each procedure.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record system (EPIC).
• Participate in on-call duties as required.
• Float to other departments or facilities as needed to support staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of experience in interventional radiology; 2 years preferred.
• Current ARRT certification and Florida state license required.
• AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required; RCIS certification preferred.
• Experience in cardiac catheterization (Cath) or electrophysiology (EP) preferred.

Schedule

• Day shift: 4×10 hours (07:00 – 17:30).
• Weekend requirements can be discussed with management.
