Occupational Therapy Assistant

Join our team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, where you will provide essential therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Your role will focus on aiding patients in developing and restoring their functional independence in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in educating patients and their families on therapeutic processes.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
