We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care Unit. This position offers a 12-hour shift from 7 AM to 7 PM, with a commitment to every other weekend. The role guarantees 36 hours per week, providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Medical Surgical (Med Surg)
• Total Beds: 44
• Staff Size: 40
• Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both day and night shifts
• Experience Required: 1 year, including at least one travel assignment

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA)
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Shifts

• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Holidays: As needed

Orientation

• General Orientation: 1 week, including Electronic Medical Record (EMR) training
• Floor Specific Orientation: 2 days
