Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in patient evaluations and assessments as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Implement prescribed treatment plans and monitor patient responses to therapy.
• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and their families on procedures, exercises, and home care following treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
