Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-20 week contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced telemetry environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry unit.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and assess their condition regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and post-discharge care.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

Shift Details

This position requires night shifts, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Current and valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
