Interventional Radiology Technologist

Position Overview

The Interventional Radiology Technologist plays a crucial role in the healthcare team by providing high-quality imaging services and supporting procedures within the Interventional Radiology department. This position requires specialized knowledge in performing neuro and peripheral interventions and working effectively in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Scheduling and Shift Details

• Shift: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Possible weekend coverage may be needed
• Holiday Requirement: Availability to work or take call on one holiday per 13-week contract
• Call Requirement: Call is required

Required Qualifications

• ARRT Certification in either Cardiovascular Interventional or Vascular Interventional Radiography
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Active state license preferred; any active state license (in hand or pending) is accepted

Clinical Skills

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Experience in neuro and peripheral interventions

Unit Details

The Interventional Radiology department is equipped with:

• 4 angiography suites (two single-plane and two biplane)
• 1 dedicated CT scanner
• 1 multipurpose fluoroscopy suite for pain management

Charting and Documentation

Proficiency with the Epic charting system is required for this role.
