Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Laboratory team. This position involves providing direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations, focusing on cardiac catheterization and critical care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care in the Cardiovascular Lab, addressing psychosocial, physical, and procedural aspects of care.
• Maintain continuous communication with physicians regarding patient conditions and progress during procedures.
• Assist in the maintenance of laboratory equipment and inventory.
• Prepare and monitor equipment and supplies necessary for cardiovascular procedures.
• Continuously assess and document patient conditions while in the laboratory.
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Participate in performance and quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License is required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications are required upon hire and must be maintained.
• A minimum of one (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care setting is required.
