Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role involves assisting patients in restoring mobility, enhancing function, and achieving set treatment goals. Compliance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately.
• Assist with patient education and the development of home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and any relevant updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state Physical Therapist Assistant license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.
