Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown Neuro

Join a collaborative and dynamic team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Stepdown Neuro. This position is essential for providing high-quality care to patients in a progressive care environment.

Shift Details

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Must work at least every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown Neuro unit.
• Monitor patient progress, vital signs, and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Conduct assessments and provide education to patients and families.
• Participate in ongoing education and training relevant to patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty is required.
• PCU/Progressive care experience is preferred but not required.
• MUST have a valid Ohio Nursing License or Compact State License in hand.
• AHA or American Red Cross certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, with the need to achieve an acceptable score on both.
