Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role involves assisting patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving their treatment goals in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatments accurately.
• Assist patients with education and home exercise programs to support their recovery.
• Communicate updates and patient status to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Possession of an active state Physical Therapist Assistant license (or ability to obtain licensure).
• Strong ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
