Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires flexibility and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3×12-hour Mid-Shift (11 AM – 11 PM)
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Holidays: As needed

Patient Ratios

The nurse to patient ratio is 1:5.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting
• SC nursing license or Compact nursing license required prior to start
• Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • NIHSS
• Epic experience is required
• Community hospital experience is preferred

Miscellaneous Information

• Open to accommodating block schedules: Approval can be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed.
• Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June – November).
• Guaranteed hours: The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Facility Environment

This position is within a free-standing Emergency Room facility with a total of 14 rooms, including a Resuscitation Room. The scrub color is royal blue, and charting is performed using Epic. There are no parking costs associated with this position.
