We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Telemetry to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

• Certifications: BLS
• Education Modules: Mandatory onboarding education

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 43
• Patient Ratios:
  • Day Shift Med/Surg: 1:4-5
  • Night Shift Med/Surg: 1:5-6
• Equipment: Ventilators, BiPaP, CPAP, CPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-Rebreather, Epidural pumps, IV pumps, specialty beds, PCA pumps, VAC dressings, Trach care and maintenance
• EMR: Epic

Qualifications

• Must Have Skills/Experience:
  • Experience with ventilators for IMC RNs
  • Experience with tracheostomies and interpreting telemetry strips
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience caring for patients with respiratory issues, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, and various acute medical conditions
