Interventional Radiology Technologist

The Interventional Procedural Technologist will provide support for minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. Key responsibilities will include operating imaging equipment, maintaining a sterile environment, and circulating during procedures in both radiology and operating room settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures, including but not limited to angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominal interventions, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy, TIPS, dialysis access, and fistula work.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain equipment, ensuring that it operates at peak performance during procedures.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
• Valid radiography license in the appropriate state.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Experience in neuro, cardiac, or vascular surgery is preferred.
• Prior experience in interventional radiology procedures is highly desirable.
