Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular and thoracic procedures, as well as a background in transplant and robotics. This role involves providing support in the operating room during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures.
• Support surgical staff by preparing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Float within the facility and to the Main OR as needed, adhering to the scope of practice.
• Participate in weekend shifts, primarily from Friday to Sunday.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant clinical setting.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team.

Contract Details

• Non-billable orientation hours will be based on contract length.
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO).
• Holidays: Expected to work on major holidays if they fall within the assignment period, with specific expectations outlined for multiple holidays.

Compliance

Full compliance is required to start on time. If compliance requirements are not met, there will be a delay of 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Shift Information

Shift is during daytime hours, requiring 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, from 06:30 to 19:00.
