Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a busy unit featuring four trauma rooms. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency care and support to pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the emergency department.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient outcomes.
• Possibly float to sister locations within a 12-mile radius as needed.
• Participate in holiday scheduling and weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an emergency department, with demonstrated experience in pediatric care.
• Current certifications in PALS and BLS.
• Experience with EPIC charting is preferred.
• Availability for minimal to no requested time off (RTO) during the assignment period.

Work Schedule

This position offers a night shift schedule consisting of 4 nine-hour shifts from 21:00 to 06:00.

Contract Length

The assignment is for 13 weeks with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.
