Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be ready to provide exceptional care to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, documenting findings accurately.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care options.

Shift Details

This position requires working a night shift of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:30.

Patient Ratios

The registered nurse will work with patient ratios ranging from 4 to 6 patients per nurse.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification is required.
