Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a medical surgical unit. This role involves collaborating with a healthcare team to implement and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring optimal recovery and support for patients during their hospital stay.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient health status and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Coordinate patient care with the healthcare team to achieve effective outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
• Document patient care processes and progress accurately in medical records.
• Respond to patient needs with compassion and professionalism.
• Assist in discharge planning and transition of care for patients.

Shift Details

This position requires working a night shift, approximately three 12-hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:00.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in a medical-surgical unit preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
