Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of a skilled bed unit consisting of 20 beds. This role entails providing leadership, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining regulatory compliance within the unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Coordinate patient care activities and manage patient flow within the unit.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide mentorship to nursing staff.
• Facilitate staff training and development programs.
• Monitor patient outcomes and implement improvements as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a nursing management role is an advantage.
