Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Echo Tech specializing in pediatric cardiac sonography. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience, with a strong preference for pediatric experience. This role offers a supportive work environment with a focus on congenital cardiac abnormalities, ensuring you make a positive impact on the lives of young patients.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Working hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekends or holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiographic examinations on pediatric patients.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
• Document patient information and results accurately in medical records.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech.
• Pediatric experience is highly preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with a Pediatric Echo (PE) designation or a Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) certification required.

Patient Population

This role will primarily involve working with patients experiencing congenital cardiac abnormalities, providing specialized care tailored to their unique needs.
