Pediatric Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care to our pediatric patients during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room for pediatric surgeries.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and ensure that all required documentation is completed accurately.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide safe and effective care before, during, and after procedures.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
• Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and post-operative care.

Schedule

• Mix of 5×8 and 4×10 shifts
• Required to cover two weekend day shifts (07:00 – 19:00).
• Two weeknight shifts from 19:00 – 23:00.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia (GA) Nursing License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
• Minimal to no requests for time off (RTO) – no more than three days.
