General Ultrasound Technologist

About the Position

The General Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures with a focus on abdominal Doppler imaging and transplants. The position requires proficiency and a commitment to quality patient care.

Shift Information

• Shift: 4×10 Hour Nights (Monday – Thursday, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
• Daily Caseload: Varies per technologist
• On-call Requirement: No on-call duties

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year required, with proficiency in abdominal Doppler imaging and transplants.
• Certifications: BLS and either ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification required.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• State Licensure: South Carolina ultrasound licensure is not required.

Additional Information

• Floating Requirements: The technologist will float between multiple locations within the region, as needed.
• Guaranteed Hours: The facility retains the right to call off one shift every two weeks.
• Parking: A one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass is required for nights and weekends.
• Emergency Preparedness: During hurricane season (June through November), all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.
