Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong Meditech experience and demonstrate proficiency in a wide array of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures including, but not limited to:
• Appendectomy
• Cholecystectomy
• Colon resection
• Hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical)
• Laparoscopic assisted procedures
• Mastectomy
• Thyroidectomy (partial/total)
• Abdominal/Vaginal hysterectomy
• Bilateral tubal ligation
• Dilation & Curettage
• Closed reduction of fractures
• Total joint replacement
• Bunionectomy
• Circumcision
• Cystoscopy
• Transurethral resection of the prostate
• Amputations
• Management of gunshot/stab wounds
• Colorectal robotic surgery using Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Gastric bypass and sleeve procedures
• Laparoscopic assisted cases
• Anterior/Posterior repair (Colporrhaphy)
• Arthroscopy
• Open reduction of fractures

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specified surgical services
• Strong proficiency with Meditech software
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Basic EKG competency
• Current, valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license preferred
• BSN is preferred

Additional Information

The position includes 12 hours of non-billable orientation, and guaranteed hours do not apply during this orientation. Please note that the client does not accept local candidates and has a 50-mile radius restriction from the job location. The client may call off or cancel up to one shift every two weeks.
