Registered Nurse

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care ICU. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on monitoring patients who require intermediate care following critical illness or surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a step-down unit, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate care plans.
• Utilize EPIC systems for accurate documentation and management of patient data.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.
• Participate in weekend shifts every two weeks, ensuring adequate staffing and care coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a progressive care or ICU setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH.
• Prior experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required.
• No first-time travelers; candidates must demonstrate prior travel experience in nursing roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Shift Information

This position requires 3 consecutive 12-hour day shifts, from 06:45 to 19:15. There are no block schedules in place.
