Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Resource Pool team. The RN will be primarily allocated to a designated location but may be required to float to other facilities within the region as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs while maintaining accurate records.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to different units flexible to meet the needs of the healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN; candidates with at least 1 year of experience will be considered.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH.
• Ability to pass an arrhythmia and medication test on the first day of employment.
• Must be able to meet fit test requirements, which may include shaving.

Position Details

• Holiday Requirements: One holiday with two on-call/additional shifts per six weeks or two holidays with no on-call/additional shifts.
• Ratios: 1:6 patient assignments.
• Weekend Requirements: As needed.
• Floating: Required to float within scope based on facility needs; may include floating to other units.
• Local Radius: Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the designated location.
• Pending License: Accepted; candidates must obtain license prior to starting.
• Attendance Policy: Adhere to attendance standards; more than two missed shifts in a contract period without reasonable explanation may lead to contract review.

Additional Information

All requests for time off (RTO) must be included upon initial submission; any additional requests may not be accommodated. This role offers guaranteed hours based on the signed contract agreement.
