Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The role of the Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) involves providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for a range of duties including rapid assessment, triage, trauma management, and administering advanced life support in various medical conditions.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 36 hours weekly
• Shift: Night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotation: Weekend rotations required

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in emergency room settings
• Certifications required:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – preferred

Required Skills

• Expertise in rapid patient assessment and triage
• Trauma management skills
• Advanced life support proficiency in various medical conditions
• Expert IV access and other medical interventions
