Position Overview
This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume Emergency Department, recognized as one of the busiest in the country. Assignment Details
- Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
- Contract Dates: 10/19/2026 – 01/16/2027
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7p–7:30a)
- Hours: 36 Hours per Week
- Variable Days: Weekends and Holidays Required
- Scheduling: No Block Scheduling

Important Notes
- 50-Mile Radius Rule: No locals permitted.
- No time off permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment.
- Maximum of 10 days of time off allowed for a 13-week contract.
- Unplanned time off may result in contract cancellation if missed shifts are not made up.
Minimum Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department RN experience.
- Most recent 12 months must include experience at an academic medical center or a Level I/II Trauma Center in a major metropolitan area.
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required.
- Recent experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center.
Required Certifications & Licensure
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS or ENPC
- Florida RN License or Compact RN License at the time of submission.
Preferred Certifications
- TNCC
Testing Requirements
All candidates must successfully complete the following:
- Specialty-specific competency exam.
- EKG exam, including rhythm mapping and interpretation.
Passing Requirements: Minimum score of 80% on each exam and 100% identification of lethal rhythms is required.
Candidates who do not meet the EKG competency requirement may face additional training responsibilities beyond Day Two of orientation. A review of cardiac rhythms is strongly recommended prior to the start date.
Interview Process
A unit manager interview is required for all candidates.
