MRI Technologist

Job Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring the highest level of patient care. The role requires a certified professional who can operate imaging equipment and collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members.

Schedule

This position features a mixed schedule including Friday through Monday:

• Friday: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Monday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients following safety protocols and standards.
• Maintain equipment and perform quality assurance checks.
• Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring comfort and understanding of procedures.
• Collaborate with other medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Float between multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified MRI technologist (ARRT, MR).
• Preferred experience with Philips MRI equipment but not mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of MRI experience is required.
• Candidates must have been separated from previous employment within the organization for at least 6 months.
