Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist specializing in NICU services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with pediatric patients in high-level care environments, including NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings. This position involves direct patient care, collaboration with medical teams, and the provision of respiratory treatments for children.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and support for pediatric patients, including those in NICU, PICU, and CVICU.
• Administer necessary interventions and therapies to manage complex respiratory conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in pediatric respiratory care, specifically in NICU, PICU, and CVICU.
• Currently possess an active Ohio RRT license.
• Certifications required: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS.
• Experience in high-level care settings (level 4) is essential.

Schedule

The position may involve working either 3×12 hour shifts or 4×12 hour shifts.

Additional Information

Travelers may be required to complete fingerprinting as part of the onboarding process, with one being onsite and another through the agency. It is essential to communicate any requests for time off or scheduling preferences during the submission and interview process.
