Cath Lab Technologist

Schedule

This position offers a unique schedule that consists of:

• 5 weeks of 4/10 hour days (07:00 – 17:30)
• 1 week of 5/8 hour days (08:00 – 16:30)

This rotation allows for a 4-day weekend every 6 weeks.

Call Requirements

On-call responsibilities include:

• 12-14 days every 6-week period
• 1-2 weekends every 6-week period
• Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility

Floating Within Facilities

Technologists may be required to float within the facility as needed, adhering to scope of practice.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role
• Open to first-time travelers

Clinical Review

Candidates will undergo a clinical review to assess their fit for the position. Upon passing the clinical review and meeting guidelines, candidates will be forwarded to the hiring manager for a final decision.

Requested Time Off

A maximum of 7 days of RTO (Requested Time Off) is allowed.

Holiday Requirements

During the assignment, if one major holiday occurs, the traveler is expected to work. For two major holidays, the traveler is expected to work both, and if three major holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two of those holidays. Major holidays include:

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day

Compliance Requirements

Full compliance with all requirements is mandatory to start on time. Non-compliance may result in a delay of up to 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Local Candidates

Local candidates may be accepted at the same rate as travelers.

Orientation Hours

The number of non-billable orientation hours will be determined by the contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment; 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).
