Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary

This role involves providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will assist patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving their treatment goals while adhering to state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions according to the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately.
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs to enhance recovery.
• Communicate patient status and any relevant updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
