Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that caters to a diverse patient demographic.

Position Details

• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Shift/Hours: 3×12 or 4×12 shifts available; rotating night/evening shifts (19:00-07:30 / 15:00-03:30)
• Weekends: Required every other weekend
• Holidays: Required as scheduled
• Floating: Within specialty and to sister facilities as needed

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Current RN license in the state of practice
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI (to be completed during onboarding); NRP and TNCC preferred

Patient Care

This role involves caring for patients of all age ranges, from infants to geriatrics. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:4, with the possibility of up to 1:5 with lower acuity patients. Expect to encounter a wide range of diagnoses across all systems, including some complex cases.

The work setting is a fast-paced emergency department that requires a proactive approach to patient care and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions.
