Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med/Surg/Telemetry to join our team. This position involves working three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. The Registered Nurse will be required to work every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg and Telemetry environment.
• Float to the Emergency Department as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing timely interventions as required.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current Med/Surg experience is required.
• Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital is preferred.
• Charge nurse experience is highly preferred.
• Previous travel nurse experience is highly preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred.
• Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association are required.
