Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse to join our team. This position focuses on providing exceptional care to neonates between 29-34 weeks gestation.

Schedule

• Night shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to well baby unit may be required
• Block schedule accommodations available

Key Responsibilities

• Caring for neonates in the NICU with a staffing ratio of 1:4
• Monitoring patients’ vital signs and health status, providing necessary interventions
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Documenting patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC required)

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a NICU environment
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
• Pending licenses are accepted
• Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs, including to well baby unit
• One request for time off (RTO) allowed

Guaranteed Hours

This position guarantees 36 hours per week.
