Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position requires night shifts. Weekend availability is required every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care for neonates aged 29-34 weeks in a Level II NICU setting.
• Coordinate and manage patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.
• Float to well baby units as needed to meet facility requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) environment.
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
• Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs, specifically to well baby units.

Additional Information

• Applicants with pending licenses are accepted.
• RTO restrictions allow for 1 request.
• Guaranteed hours set at 36 hours per week.
• Local candidates are welcome with a minor pay adjustment.
• Block scheduling may be accommodated.

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio

The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 in the NICU.
