Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Description

This full-time position offers a 40-hour work week and requires candidates to be flexible with scheduling, including the ability to work any shift with no set days off. The role involves providing direct patient care through various nursing support tasks in accordance with established methods and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with prescribed methods and procedures.
• Assist with activities of daily living for residents and patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and general health status.
• Support nursing staff with various tasks as needed across a variety of care units, including skilled nursing facilities and home care settings.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to enhance patient care and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to rotating shifts as necessary.
