Registered Nurse (RN) – Peri Anesthesia

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Peri Anesthesia team. This role requires expertise in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing anesthesia procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the Pre-operative and Post-operative settings.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and vital signs, responding to any changes promptly.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as directed by protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding anesthesia procedures and post-operative care.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant specialty.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Shift and Schedule

Variable shifts are available between 5:00 AM and 8:00 PM, with a guaranteed weekly workload of 36 hours. Weekend coverage is expected approximately once every 5-6 weeks, and call requirements are included in this position.

This role requires flexibility and adaptability, as float requirements are rare. Candidates must be prepared to provide exceptional care and support to patients and their families throughout the peri-anesthesia process.
