Cardiac Sonographer

Position Overview

This is a full-time position for a Cardiac Sonographer proficient in both Echocardiography and Vascular Sonography. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, assist in patient care, and work collaboratively within an outpatient cardiology practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct echocardiograms and vascular studies effectively.
• Ensure high-quality imaging and accuracy in interpretations.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients on procedures and address any inquiries they may have.

Work Schedule

The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, following a 5-day work schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (with a 30-minute break included)
• Friday: 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM

No weekends are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Current certifications: RDCS RVT or RDCS, and BLS.
• Experience in performing echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Proficient in using ultrasound equipment and interpreting sonographic images.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and medical personnel.

Uniform Requirements

Galaxy blue scrubs are required for this position.

Employment Type

This is a full-time outpatient position with no on-call or weekend requirements.
