Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care Float

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care Float team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in various medical-surgical settings. This position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to diverse patient care needs across multiple units.

Shift Details

• Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• 30-minute lunch included in shift

Patient Care Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will float to the following units:

• 12E – Medical Comfort Care
• 11E – Surgery and GI
• 10E – Trauma
• 8E – Medical
• 7S – Observation
• 5E – Medical
• 5W – Oncology
• 4S – Medical Nephrology
• 9E – Ortho
• 7E – Joint Replacement/Ortho
• 6S & 6E – Neuro
• 9H – Vascular
• 8H – Pulmonary
• 7H – Cardiac Surgery
• 4H – Cardiac

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital setting
• Active and unencumbered TN (or multi-state) RN license is required
• BLS certification is required
• Cerner EMR experience is mandatory
