Job Description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a Level 4 trauma center, within a 10-bed emergency department as part of a 25-bed critical access hospital. The ED RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage based on urgency and severity of conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
